What is the LGPD?
The General Data Protection Law (LGPD) regulates the processing of personal data by individuals and legal entities, whether public or private, ensuring greater transparency, security, and control for data subjects.

Personal data refers to information related to an identified or identifiable natural person, such as name, CPF, address, telephone number, and email.
Sensitive personal data includes information regarding racial or ethnic origin, religious beliefs, political opinions, genetic or biometric data, health-related information, or sexual life.
What is data processing?
Data processing refers to any operation carried out with personal data, including collection, storage, use, sharing, processing, and deletion.
Rights of the data subject
Data subjects may request confirmation of data processing, access, correction, anonymization, deletion, or withdrawal of consent, in accordance with the LGPD.
Persons responsible for data processing
The Controller is responsible for decisions regarding the processing of personal data.
The Data Protection Officer (DPO) acts as the communication channel between the institution, data subjects, and the Brazilian National Data Protection Authority (ANPD).
Security and privacy
The institution adopts technical and administrative measures to ensure the protection of personal data and to prevent unauthorized access, security incidents, and misuse of information.
