Abstract

The article is devoted to the problem of medical error and negligence in the delivery of health care services. It presents this issue on the basis of court case law. The text shows examples of specific cases in which patients have been compensated. The author analyzes the reasons for the decisions, attempts to identify typical medical and legal issues, and the dominant line of jurisprudence in patient compensation cases.
